The pandemic and cost of living crisis have caused many businesses to close and cafés are no exception.

Through the window of this café you could see the empty counters, once full of people. A pair of scissors and some old fairy lights, paper bags to wrap the takeaways, and the flags that named the cakes were all that remained.
